Final Assembly took place at Ryan Field in December 2007

In the 18 months it took to build this airplane, we assembled it several times to test rigging and all systems.

Because I live in a rugged section of Tucson, this is how it left my house.

The next stop was at a friend's house in La Cholla Airpark where the tail was mated to the fuselage.

Thanks to another friend, we had an enclosed hangar at Ryan Field where the wings were attached,
the Airworthiness Inspection occurred, and weight and balance tests were performed.
