557BD? That's easy, 55 and 57 were the two best
years for automobiles EVER. BD.....
duhhhh.

The next photo includes Chet, without whom this project might never have been finished.
Before every flight you go thru an
extensive checkout procedure. Given this is an experimental airplane,
I have to write the procedure. Using examples I received from others, I
painstakingly review the
procedure and make notes to any improvements for the next version.
Never leave till checkout is complete and the tower gives permission to taxi.
Airborne, at last.
